About Us

ARC Training and Development formed in 2003 as a training organisation to serve the Rochester and Chatham areas in Kent, hence the A ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú Around, R ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú Rochester, C ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú Chatham. ARC has, since it?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s formation, worked a little further afield than Kent. All over the Midlands, around the South Coast, for Borough Councils in London, a Central London College as well as a lot of Charity and Voluntary groups, offering affordable and accessible training opportunities to their staff. Primarily a single trainer organisation, Food Safety was the first subject presented and is now delivered at Levels 1, 2 and 3. Health and Safety at Work was a natural choice for the second subject. In the ever safety conscious workplace, this is a good start point for all employees as an introduction or a refresher, bringing the subject back to life. First Aid followed Health and Safety. The trainer was delivering Emergency First Aid to voluntary organisations and decided to improve his portfolio of qualifications delivered to include both the Level 2 Emergency First Aid at Work as well as the Level 3 First Aid at Work. ARC Training and Development prides itself on the delivery of the training and the success rate that it has. All the training, whether on Open Courses or at employer?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s venues, is certificated by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and is administrated by a ARC, a Registered CIEH Centre. Peter Byrne, Training Consultant, insists that learning should be affordable, reliable and local. He feels that candidates should leave the courses having had an enjoyable learning experience that was FUN.
